Summis (from the Latin summus, “the highest”) reads a student's whole application the way an admissions committee would then shows them exactly what to do about it. We started it because the students who most need that read are the ones least likely to afford it.

Every number in a Summis brief cites its source — a school's official Common Data Set, not an estimate. You can check the work yourself in any report.

Hi, I'm a junior at UC Berkeley studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, a two-time software developer for nonprofits, and a two-time software engineer intern for startups. I'm passionate about educational equality and leveling the playing field for students of all backgrounds. I've helped coach several students through the college application process, including my sister, who will join me at UC Berkeley, and I hope to help many more.

Hi, I'm a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Business and Data Science, an AI adoption and go-to-market consultant for Oracle, and a sales operations intern at an enterprise software company. I've always thought a student's background shouldn't limit their options, and the right technology in the right hands can change that. I've helped a handful of applicants navigate the college application process, including my best friend, who's headed to Dartmouth this fall, and I'm excited to help students everywhere do the same.
